Through the Hybrid Leadership Development Program, AYC equips leaders to cultivate a missional culture within their churches and lead holistic outreach grounded in biblical values. As participants apply what they’ve learned, selected churches are supported in implementing transformative community projects.
At the same time, AYC empowers these leaders to respond to urgent local needs through relief efforts like food distribution and medical support. These initiatives strengthen the church’s Gospel witness, build trust with surrounding communities, and mobilize internal and external resources as part of asset-based development for long-term impact.
AYC equips leaders with Thematic discipleship books to guide discipleship groups in their churches. These books are rooted in biblical principles and aim to foster a church culture oriented toward holistic mission. The themes include justice, mercy, generosity, holistic mission, and more.
Training workshops are conducted to train leaders to facilitate and teach the first online course they completed, “Self-Management by Christ Mindset” in their own churches. These sessions use simulation-based and interactive methods and incorporate basic counseling skills to ensure deeper engagement and lasting transformation.

Medical Support in Partnership with CCMA
Since 2018, AYC has partnered with the Canadian Coptic Medical Association (CCMA) to provide over 700 free surgeries, delivering life-changing medical support to individuals in need within the communities surrounding the local partner churches.
Community Projects in Partnerships with the local churches
AYC mentors and equips partner churches to lead community development projects, while also providing matching funds as local churches take responsibility for their role. These initiatives include nurseries, Next-generation skill-building programs, vocational training centers, addiction recovery ministries, and support for women affected by violence.
